Gabby Meadows is our featured writer

There is a saying, "Equestrians speak a different language, one built in silence." I think this is the truest think about being an equestrian. Because when riding a horse, things are sensed, not said I am the site writer. You can call me Baby Face. And yes, I do have a Baby Face. But of course, there's more to who I am than just that If I were to describe myself in one sentence. It would be, "Strong, passionate, a fighter, gutsy, stubborn, graceful, quirky, a go-getter, and an equestrian. I want to be a great rider, I want to break records and I want to be an inspiration to my peers.

Hillary Anderson is our editor in chief

I have an addiction, it's called riding horses. I am the website editor. I’ve loved horses my whole life. I started riding when I was 3. By the time I was in my teens, I was a serious competitor and a great one In fact, I have a couple of trophies to my name. I still ride, I will always ride. Riding is my happy place. It keeps me youthful and peaceful. When I'm not riding, I'm likely training up and coming equestrians. I love that I get to inspire kids who are passionate about horses. I want to pass on my skills and hopefully create some of the best equestrians of the next generation. My favorite quote is, "Think of riding as science but love it as an art." I always quote this to my students. There is truth and power in that quote.

Gregory Daniels is passionate about animal rights

What is life without a love of animals? I honestly don't know. I think its a tragedy. I love animals. I especially have a soft spot for horses because my first friend ever was a horse. I understand the true meaning of unconditional love because of her. In fact, I literary owe everything I am today to her. She gave me love. She taught me patience. And most importantly, she gave me a purpose. I now spend my days fighting for animal rights. It gets hard sometimes but the thought of Jema (my first horse ever) gives me hope and rejuvenates my spirit. I am a contributing writer for the website. My job is to educate people about animal rights and fight against the monstrous treatment of animals. My friends and family often refer to me as the Bow Tie Junkie. I never go anywhere without a Bow Tie.

We believe that coming together as a community allows us to learn from each other, which in turn makes us better horse people. We hope to inspire positive change in how people treat horses and animals in general. And through creating authentic content, we know we can achieve this, but if you feel we’ve missed something important- please send us a message or leave a comment on what we should add to our website. Thank You!
